WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE YOU FLY...
- the tour lasts approximately 1 hour and a half, depending on the number of people on board
- bring a hat and/ or sunglasses and wear sunscreen
- wear deck shoes
- bring a jacket; it's windier and colder at sea than on land
- all flights are "weather permitting" !!!!!!
- captain will control how high you go, depending on safety conditions
- adult maximum weight of 360 lbs.
- children less than 120 lbs. have to fly with an adult
- the earlier you fly in the day the better. In the morning there are fewer boats out, less traffic, more freedom to move around the bay, and the sea is calmer.
- cameras are welcome but at your own risk, as there often is spray as the boat motors around the bay.
PROCEDURES
- Purchase ticket online or at Costa Real Hotel in our office.
- Go to the main dock to board the boat 10 min. before the time of your flight.
- Once on board please remain seated at all times.
- The personnel will assist in putting on your life jacket and the parasailing harness.
- The harness works like a swing and the seat of the harness should rest approx. mid thigh.
- The leg straps are there for added protection and are supposed to hang down, rather than feel tight around your legs. Don't try to pull them up.
- When the personnel is ready for you to go up and it's your turn, you will get on the platform.
- At that time you will face forward, and the personnel will attach your harness to the parasail and ask you to sit flat on the platform
- REMEMBER: CLIP AND SIT!
- At that point the boat will accelerate and you will be on your way!
- When your flight is finished, you will be winched back into the boat. Walk in and please remain standing on the platform. The personnel will unclip you from the parasail and ask that you step down into the boat, so the next person can take their spot on the platform.
- When all passengers have flown, our tender (panga) will recover you and give you a free ride back to the main dock or to Medano Beach.
- TIP #1: You can take advantage of flying with us to go to the main Mexican Arts & Crafts market which is at the main dock
- TIP #2: You can also have lunch at Tabasco o Baja Cantina on medano beach. Both have great food and are perfect for "people"-watching!
